The Story

Rookie of the Year at Hickory, a NASCAR Truck Series debut, an Xfinity Series ride — on paper it reads like a fast track. What it leaves out is a kid from Palm Beach Gardens with no racing family, who turned karting into a career on preparation alone, with his father Tony in his corner the whole way. He sat down with Trixy Castro to finally tell it.

01

No Racing Family, No Shortcuts

Mason discovered racing through karting, not a family legacy. He built his way up through Bandolero, Legend Cars, and Late Models on preparation and consistency alone.

02

Rookie of the Year to NASCAR's National Stage

A 2021 Rookie of the Year season at Hickory Motor Speedway opened the door to NASCAR's Craftsman Truck and Xfinity Series, racing against the sport's top emerging talent.

03

Discipline Passed Down, Not Handed Over

His father Tony Maggio's mentorship built the foundation of trust and accountability Mason still races and leads by — on and off the track.
